A moment in time...

My work as a therapist is focused on assisting people discover vitality,

satisfaction, wholeness, and contentment in life. With compassion,

understanding, and a touch of humor,  I can help guide you through the

obstacles that keep you from experiencing the life you desire.

Fulfillment and Vitality ~

Deep fulfillment and maturing vitality are available to each of us. When this

natural process is disrupted, suffering is experienced. Anxiety, depression,

betrayal, traumatic events, addictions, and loss are all forms of suffering.

When we remove the blockages that keep suffering anchored in place, a

more natural way of being is experienced. Embracing our new found way we

can enjoy the richness of relationship we each yearn for.

I am a psychotherapist and counseling psychologist. I have been in private practice in Fair Oaks, California, since

l992, and I have experience working with adults in both an individual and/or couples setting, and adolescents

and children in an individual and/or family setting; as well, I have experience working the GLBT community and

with clients across the spectrum of mental disorders.

Integration ~

In my work, I integrate elements of attachment, humanistic, existential, and transformational systemic theory,

along with elements of psychodynamics. I also draw from buddhist psychology and the value of mindfulness.

The integration of the psychotherapeutic process can be described as “tuning one's ear to listen to one's inner

voice.” When we hear that voice, our world becomes still and calm.
